About Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory
Established in 1974 as an outcome of a merger between Scientific Section CID of Police Department and Chemical Examiner Unit of Medical & Health Department, Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh State Forensic Science Laboratory (APSFSL) is a reputed name in the industry. It maintains highest quality in the analysis and prompt reporting and has set up 24 mobile forensic science laboratories called CLUES in all district headquarters to collect physical evidence from crime scenes. APSFL has effectively expanded its operations to the Regional level and its Regional Forensic Science Laboratories are located in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Kurnool, Guntur, Warangal, Tirupathi, Kamareddy and Karimnagar.
